We know Librarians are the only one community to organize and manage ever growing information resources under different areas of subjects.In this information technology era librarians are known as cybrarians, content managers, information specialists, and knowledge engineers. The value of the librarians increase every day due to the information explosion.
The talents of the librarian extend far beyond the ability to just organize. It is required that librarians be equally competent with the technology as well. Given the line of work, it is imperative that the librarians know a plethora of software applications, operating platforms, and programming languages such as, Java, XML and Perl. Because of their attention to detail, librarians have also become programmers and web analysts.
